In 2011 Sydney Camerata will embark on our first ever tour. We hope to travel to Western Sydney, The Blue Mountains, Orange and Bathurst presenting interactive concerts at schools and public performances.

The benefits of taking the orchestra on a tour such as this are:

• opportunities to promote music in regional communities
  

• performance opportunities in new venues, to new audiences
  

• an opportunity to perform numerous concerts in succession, consolidating and building the ensemble musically
  

• promotion of new Australian contemporary 'classical' music
  

The main costs of taking an orchestra on tour include transport & accommodation expenses and venue hire.

We are seeking to raise $10,000 to fund this tour and encourage you to play your part in the future of our young ensemble.

We firmly believe in a future for young, talented Australian musicians and opportunities such as this to share our music with new audiences is invaluable to our nation's culture.
