2008 Composition Competition

Chris Williams won the 2008 Composition Competition with his piece Threnody. His work was performed live at the Seymour Centre on September 17 2008 and Sydney Conservatorium on October 22 2008.

2009 Composition Competition

Entries are now closed. Congratulations to Lachlan Skipworth and Chris Williams whose works will be performed on August 28, 2009 at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Recital Hall West 6.30pm.

Lachlan's piece Light Rain will feature Riley Lee on Shakuhachi.

2010 Composition Competition

Entries are now open for our 2010 Composition Competition. We are pleased to announce the inaugural Camerata Fellowship which will allow an Australian composer under the age of 35 to workshop their music with the orchestra and have their music performed in our concert series. This program is kindly supported by Ars Musica Australis. More information is available here.
