Sydney Camerata Chamber Orchestra was formed in 2008 with the aim of nurturing and promoting the talents of some of Australia's finest young string players. We have presented concerts within Sydney and look forward to reaching out to regional NSW in 2010.
In 2010, Sydney Camerata partner with Sydney's fine music station 2MBS-FM and Ars Music Australis. We look forward to bringing these partnerships to fruition and bringing our music to an expanding audience.
Sydney Camerata is comprised of young professional musicians and post-graduate music students. Our ensemble proudly supports emerging Australian composers through our annual Composition Competition and composer-performer workshops.
